Learn about the rural renewal tax credit that allows a tax credit for hiring individuals, age 18-39, who live in the following Iowa counties: Audubon, Calhoun, Cherokee, Ida, & Sac. This new legislation authorizes eligible employers to claim up to $2,400 in work opportunity tax credits (WOTC) by employing 18-39 year-old residents of rural renewal counties.
